Jenny Visser-Hooft's accounting of the 2nd Netherland Karakoram Expedition in 1925. Visser-Hooft was renowned for the research into flora and fauna conducted with her husband, Phillips Christiaan Visser, in the 1920s.

First Edition. London: Edward Arnold, 1926. Large 8vo. Original publisher's cloth. xii, 303, 16 pages of advertisements. Folding map at rear, 24 plates throughout.

Bound in pale blue publisher's cloth. Cover and spine lettered in gilt. Edges uncut. Very good. Binding square and tight. Spine a touch faded, though gilt lettering remains bright across covers. Some mild soiling to rear spine crease. Otherwise, binding sound. Contents very good, some foxing here and there throughout. W. Williams blind stamp to lower title corner. Pages fresh and bright, plates clear. A very attractive copy.
