Bound in original green publisher's pictorial cloth. Gilt stamped to cover and spine. Illustration of mountaineer blocked in gilt on cover. Edges uncut. Very good. Cloth rubbed and weathered at spine edges and creases, as well as on corners. Binding later refreshed by Edmonds & Remnants of London with new endpapers. Binders plate on RBEP. Contents in excellent condition. Minor markings here and there. All plates and maps present and in excellent condition.
